 Aligned with the same platform as our System One sleep therapy technology, the Philips Respironics BiPAP AVAPS noninvasive ventilator provides the comfort of pressure ventilation and the consistent efficiency of assured tidal volume. Adapting automatically to changing patient needs, BiPAP AVAPS incorporates System One advanced technologies that help simplify patient care.

• AVAPS automatically adapts to your patient's changing needs:  Average Volume Assured Pressure Support (AVAPS) maintains optimal patient comfort while supporting patient care and treatment efficacy. It automatically adapts to disease progression, improves ventilation efficacy, and simplifies the titration process. 

• Clinically proven algorithms for advanced event detection:  Continually monitor and adjust to a patient's changing therapy needs with clinically proven algorithms, including the adjustable EPAP. 

• Digital Auto-Trak for advanced leak detection:  This technology enables optimum patient/ventilator synchrony, recognizes and compensates for leaks, and automatically adjusts variable trigger and cycle thresholds. 

• Bi-Flex technology enhances patient comfort:  Bi-Flex pressure relief technology makes BiPAP therapy more like natural breathing by delivering pressure relief. 

• Heated tube for more flexibility and patient comfort:  The BiPAP AVAPS System One heated tube humidifier has a temperature sensor at the end of the heated tube to deliver the selected level of humidity to the patient, while providing protection against rainout. As a result, higher levels of humidity can be achieved for patients who could benefit from humidification.

• Three therapy modes suit all patients:  The BiPAP Auto Bi-flex system has CPAP, fixed bi-level, and auto bi-level modes.

 The enhanced System One sleep therapy system is designed to deliver exceptional therapy, enhance patient comfort, and provide essential compliance tools. 

• Auto-Trial mode for flexible delivery:  Auto-Trial mode delivers breath-by-breath auto-CPAP therapy for up to a total of 30 days, after which the device automatically transitions into the CPAP-Check mode at the pressure the patient was at or below 90% of the trial period time. 

• CPAP-check mode for optimal pressure:  CPAP-Check mode checks on the user every 30 hours to determine if therapy pressure is optimal. If it is not optimal, it automatically adjusts the nightly fixed CPAP pressure by 1 cm H2O to obtain ideal pressure. 

• Opti-Start for customized pressure:  Opti-Start enhances auto-CPAP therapy, providing a customized starting pressure. 

• Adjustable PSmin:  Adjustable PSmin provides clinicians with additional options for patients who require auto bi-level therapy.
